- Sprints: Around 220 historic, classic and modern performance road and racing cars race the clock on Leyburn’s 1.0 closed-street course. More than 60 different classes means there’s hot competition throughout the field.
- VIP driver guests and autograph sessions. Look for announcements about some exciting names to attend.
- Vintage Van Village: Now in its 7th year, the popular vintage vans have evolved into the Vintage Van Village, now at its own new location adjacent to Turn One. These delightful homes on wheels and their shiny tow vehicles are not to be missed.
- Show ‘n’ Shine: Roarin’ roadcars and garage queens roll in on Sunday for the spectacular Show ‘n’ Shine. Jowetts to Jags, Fords to Fezzers, Minis to Mustang – there’s something for every enthusiast.
- Race car hot laps – buy tickets on-line to win a fast ride in a race car.
- Discover the fascinating history of Leyburn, a 19th century gold-rush district that became a WW2 secret wartime airbase and home to the 1949 Australian Grand Prix.
- And that’s not all – Charity Auction, Fun Run, Motorsport Alley display, country market stalls and more.
What else is new?
- We’ve made a new southern entry gate in Macintyre Street, near the corner of Canning Street, and adjacent to Turn One. With one of two giant screens for streaming video (presented by Speedcafe.com), the enhanced Golden Fleece bar, food vans and the new Vintage Van Village, you’re set for a great day’s spectating.
- More market stalls, now behind the Royal Hotel.
- Extra campsites. Due to demand we’ve added new camping grounds at Tummaville Heights and Mill House.
